We are
seeing some remarkably wonderful results with our Bordeaux
varietals. Our oak program is carefully designed
to coax the proper finesse from the grapes without
overpowering the delicate violet notes. The juice
spends 20 months on 50% neutral French Oak, 25% new
French Oak and 25% new American Oak. The nose
hints of dark, rich chocolate, melting into cherry,
anise, almond and clove spice. Tannins
offer little restraint to the full bodied flavor. 385
cases produced. |
